The New PS3 Slim

If you are a fan of the Gran Turismo series, the Logitech PS3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel, will take this series and other racing games from good to amazing. This wheel is made solid and comfortable to grip.

To use the driving force gt on your PC, all you have to do is download the free Logitech gaming software and you are off to the races. It has a 24-position real-time adjustment dial for on the fly adjustment settings.

The biggest issue about this wheel is that if you want to race on other games that are not specifically supported by racing wheels, you will have wasted your money. Some of the minor complaints about the wheel that I have heard from other gamers is that the angle on the pedals are a bit high, which makes it difficult to drive with just your right foot; so you have to use both feet for driving.

In spite of these minor issues, if you want to get the most out of the newer racing games, getting this wheel is essential. This wheel allows you to do fine tune adjustments in turns and the throttle pedal can be easily engaged to 1/4, 1/2, or even full gas in some turns. Sony is one of many companies that have excelled in creating innovative entertainment in media terms. One of their wonderful inventions is the creation of the PlayStation. To date, there have been many outstanding PS models on the market under their umbrella. And they had just launched its new console labeled as the PS3 Slim.

The new PS3 Slim is really a drastic change from the former ones. Many have noticed the black latter finish and the thin feel of the new game console. * Size. True to its name the PS3 Slim is actually thinner compared to the previous one. It measures 2.5 inches long, while the other measures 3.86 inches. Above all, the PS3 Slim is 33% smaller and 36% lighter.

* Performance. To achieve a smaller size of the new Sony PS3 Slim, the wise internal architecture of the console game has also been modified and redesigned. The new PS3 Slim is powered by a version of a 45nm processor cell, of which the former ones run along the 60 nm processor. The advantage of this is that it is smaller and more energy efficient. Furthermore, the total energy of the gadget has been reduced to 250 watts compared to the previous 280 watts.

* Cooling system. With the slimmer version also comes the fainter sound. Besides the new heating system it also comes with a new fan. It paves the way for a quiet hum in the unit. Therefore, it does not explode loud noises every time you watch a movie while sitting next to the console. Moreover, even if subjected to an hour or so it will not emit that much heat generating air discomfort around.

It is very clear that the new PS3 Slim is thinner, thus strongly upholding its name. Furthermore, it is also good in terms of performance. Not only can you save in the form of space to put your console, but energy and electricity as a whole. If you plan to buy a gaming device in the near future, the new Sony PS3 is indeed the better choice.
