Italian site, multiplayer.it, recently interviewed Kazunori Yamauchi, creator of Gran Turismo, who confirmed previous details on GT5 are accurate (1000 cars, 80 track variations and YouTube uploads), as well as a worldwide simultaneous release by the end of the year is planned. Single player progression will be similar to GT on PSP rather than older entries, damage will affect handling, and there will be real NASCAR and WRC races. All running at full 1080P and 60FPS.
